Happy 1st Birthday!
Happy Birthday ... It's Frantasia Haze's first birthday, can you believe it!? This year has gone so fast, but what a great year it has been for Frantasia Haze! I wanted to celebrate in style and launch something fabulous for our first big birthday ... And it couldn't get better than the New Collection, Fuchsia Lilly.
I had planned a fabulous Frantasia Haze launch party this weekend, balloons, cakes, cocktails. But obviously with all things going on in the country and having to self isolate, social distance. I unfortunately had to cancel the planned launch party and have a launch party for three... In the kitchen, with the husband and Ruby (the dog). I did some video calls to those who should have been at the launch party, which was quite funny. It was fabulous all the same and It was a great evening, we did have a laugh and yes, I had a few cocktails a lovely dinner and cake to celebrate.
What a better way to celebrate Frantasia Haze's first birthday than to launch our second Exclusive Collection, Fuchsia Lilly! I have absolutely loved and I mean LOVED working on these designs. Being able to work with two of my most favourite flowers and create these designs inspired by them, has been a dream. And what a fabulous duo they have made, they working beautifully together and the soft fluid shapes they create, really added to the design process.
Obviously when it came down to choosing the colours for the designs and the collection... It was a difficult but not so difficult one. I new I wanted to use the sweet and vibrant colours both flowers produce and to capture these in the designs around a summer setting. I do find it hard and to be honest, boring, sticking to three colours or even two. I love using different colour tones within a design to elevate it's elements and really bring the design to life. I have designed and launched the first three pattern designs for the Fuchsia Lilly collection which are, Fuchsia Lilly, Lilia Bloom and Fuchsia La Vine. The main design in the collection is Fuchsia Lilly and this fabulous design is in Fuchsia Tropics ... Aren't these colours just delicious!? ...
